Earthenware manufacturer at the Sylvester Works, Burslem.
When Holmes & Plant ceased operation the works were taken by the Nile Street works of Doulton & Co.

Previously:- Holmes, Plant & Maydew 

Holmes & Plant were also recorded by Jewitt as being - at the Waterloo Works in Hanley - they probably kept some interest in the works from the time when Holmes, Plant and Whitehurst operated there.
