Description:  TYPICAL C17 YEOMANS HOUSE.STONE TABLET INSCRIBED 1686

 

Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings.

Late 17th Century or early 18th Century. Brick with stone dressings and plain tiled roofs. 3-storeyed, originally of 3 bays, though altered.

Existing windows are insertions, but the stone frames and architraves of the original windows are still visible, including 2 oculi in the gable wall. Stone plinth, quoins and gable copings with kneelers.

Gable end stacks. Rear wing with inserted doorway and renewed fenestration, now a separate dwelling.
