Born 1877 at Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent. Son of the late Albert Francis Wenger of Newcastle-under- Lyme.
Educated at Newcastle-under-Lyme High School and on the Continent.

Married 1902, Isabelle, daughter of the late James Lovatt, J.P., Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Justice of the Peace for the City of Stoke-on-Trent; 
Was a Member of Newcastle-under-Lyme Town Council for ten years; 
Vice-President of North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce; 
Vice-Chairman, Stone Division Conservative and Unionist Association.

Managing Director of Wengers Limited, Ceramic Colour and Chemical Manufacturers, Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent.

Recreation-Foxhunting.

Heir-James Albert Lovatt Wenger, M.A. (Cantab.). Born 1905.
