many of the street names changed in the mid 1950's. e.g....
Davenport Street - became Broomhill Street
Mount Street - became Knight Street
Well Street - became Roundwell Street

at the end of the 1980's the area was redeveloped, many of the old terrace houses in
the America Street and Plex Street area were demolished and replaced by new houses. 
some streets disappeared altogether such as... Adams Square
