Standing approx8 inches high it has an opening of 5 inches across. The vase is an apricot colour with a mottled yellow effect over the vase. Made by S. Fielding



S. FIELDING & COMPANY.  THE MARK ON THE BOTTOM DEPICTS THE CROWN WITH S.F. & CO. ENGLAND ABOVE AND RYE WITH THE LETTER 0 FOLLOWED BY THE NUMBERS 290 IS WRITTEN UNDERNEATH WITH THE LETTER 0 FOLLOWED BY THE NUMBERS 112 INCISED ON ONE OF THE FEET.

S Fielding plate has blue and pink flowers with pink and gold around the the edge. They date back to about 1890 and are 9" in diameter.



Crown Devon is the brand name of S. Fielding and Co. Ltd. who made this piece at the Devon Pottery, Stoke, Staffordshire around 1930-35

Marks: The impressed mark on the base of this vase is confirmed as the Crown Devon pattern shape name "LONDON". Below this is the mark "6IN" referring to the size. There is also a tiny scripted pattern number possibly M 152 and a P? The M refers to the "Matt" pattern book and the numbers to glaze-mix used.
