Baddeley Green Streets Past & Present

Baddeley Green is a residential district in the northern part of Stoke-on-Trent, lying between Milton and Stockton Brook and forming part of the city’s transition towards the higher ground of the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Historically, the area developed from scattered rural settlement into a more continuous suburban landscape during the 19th and 20th centuries, influenced by nearby coal mining, small-scale industry, and the wider expansion of Stoke-on-Trent’s urban area.

While it is now largely residential, Baddeley Green retains a slightly elevated, open character in places, reflecting its origins on the edge of the built-up city.
