Lightwood Road (was named Stone Road) is a long road running from Longton, past Florence and Lightwood to Rough Close.

At the Longton end it joins a roundabout, with Cromartie Street and Rosslyn Road, at the A50 Trunk road. Before the building of the A50 Lightwood Road ran into Stafford Street and then onto The Strand in Longton town centre.
