George and Thomas Day

Location and period of operation:

China manufacturer at the Albion Works, High Street, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. 

• George Day and Thomas Tunnicliffe Day were originally in partnership with John Aidney.

• The partnership was dissolved in August 1879 - George & Thomas Day continued at the works in the High Street and John Aidney started a new partnership and built the Mill Street Works in Edensor Road c.1882.
