Woodbank Street runs from Newcastle Street past Bournes Bank to Waterloo Road. Woodbank Street was built to take through traffic around Burslem town centre. At the bottom it passes St. Johns Church.

when the ring road was built it took some of the grounds of St. Johns.


Alongside Woodbank Street is the factory of Johnson Matthey.
