(Jewitt records that these potters were at Sandyford & Tunstall and Goddard notes that there was a potter of this name at Tunstall 1851 and 1853-4, there was some family relation between the owners of the works in Tunstall and Fenton. Charles Challinor has a business interest in the Tunstall Works)
