Mrs. Jane Beech

Location and period of operation:

• Earthenware and china manufacturer at the Bell Works, Queen Street, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent 

 

1867-1874 - William Beech was suceeded by Mrs. Jane Beech who manufactured 'water-closets, china and earthenware toys' 

1875 - Jane Beech took a Mr. Podmore and a partner and they traded as Beech & Podmore.    

 

Previously: William Beech

Subsequently: Beech & Podmore

the Bell (or Brickhouse) Works was previously used by 
Josiah Wedgwood before his move to Etruria
