  • John Hinks had previously founded Royale Stratford 1976. 

  • In 2005 that business failed and John Hinks started Studio Hinks Fine Bone China at the Regent Works, Longton.

  • The company was a small business, in 2006 they employed 12 skilled decorators. Although making ware under their own name they were mainly a supplier to larger china manufacturers such as Aynsley, Doulton & Wedgwood. 

  • The company went into liquidation around December 2008.
