  • The partners were William Cooper, Joseph Nixon and William Dethick.

  • In June 1866 they were prosecuted and fined £1 0s 0d with 13s costs (J. E. Davis, Esq., Stipendiary Magistrate, Longton) for "employing a child before noon and after 1 p.p. on the same day." Reports of the Inspectors of Factories to Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State ... for the half year ending 31st October 1866. 

  • In October 1875 Joseph Nixon retired from the business which was continued by Cooper & Dethick.
